Moroccan Boucherouite rug, handwoven during the end of the 20th century. 

Boucherouite rugs are made using recycled fabrics, giving them their distinctive multicolor and shaggy pile. This funky rug features yarn that has been unspun and re-spun together mixing different tones in each strand. The yarn has been patterned into color blocks creating a nice striation. This rug is very whimsical and appealing, perfect for a space in need of texture. 

In very good condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Shaggy pile made with recycled materials, with a heavy handle.
